The long-term and significant rise in the price of tungsten carbide has led to a substantial increase in raw material costs. Despite these challenges, Tungaloy has continued to invest and remains committed to supplying high‑quality carbide tools.
Until now, Tungaloy has absorbed a large share of the cost increases. However, in the current market situation, a price adjustment has become necessary. Therefore, starting 1 May 2026, Tungaloy’s price list will increase by an average of 8.9%. The size of the increase varies by product group, and for some products it will be higher than the average. The purpose of this adjustment is to compensate for the increased raw material costs.
